TIME SCHEDULE FOR THE AUGUST 23, 2008
GRAND MASTER’S ONE-DAY CLASS

7:30 A.M. Registration of Candidates and Guides. Candidates and Guides must register together by 8:15 A.M. Coffee and rolls/donuts are available following registration and is where they should remain until instructed.
8:00 A.M. The First Degree cast will meet in the Lodge Room and open a Lodge of Entered Apprentices. Registration will continue.
8:15 A.M. Guides only will meet in the Lodge Room for instruction on how to illustrate and communicate the signs and passes to the Candidates.
8:30 A.M. All Candidates and their Guides must be in the Lodge Room by 8:25 A.M. and in their seats by 8:30 A.M. Class Marshals will direct the seating.
8:35 A.M. Introduction of the First Degree Cast. Presentation of the colors is by the Knights Templar, Grand Commandery of Iowa. Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem.
8:45 A.M. Reading of the Entered Apprentice Prologue. Conferral of the Entered Apprentice Degree and instructions. After which we will have our mid-morning break.
10:30 A.M. Reading of the Fellow Craft Prologue, Conferral of the Fellow Craft Degree, and instructions.
12:15 PM Lunch.
1:00 PM Conferral of the Master Mason Degree.
3:15 PM Instruction period and closing of the Lodge.
It is imperative that all Candidates and Guides are in the Lodge Room for the conferral of all three degrees. Should an emergency occur please contact the Grand Secretary
Absolutely no smoking or eating and drinking of anything will be allowed in the Lodge Room. Smoking is prohibited in the lunchroom.
The Candidate Fee for the Class is $70.00.
For all others, the cost is $10.00 per person for food, etc.
Remember to get your lodge's applications in as early as possible.
